Memorial Day

As we reflect on ancestors & loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to this nation. Let’s make sure we live our lives in a way that says we are grateful.

Brave men and women in uniform don’t fight wars so we can have cook outs! Whether against The British Empire, The Confederacy or The Third Reich; our warriors have fought for Liberty and Justice.

We should live as free people, responsible people and just people.

Conservative governors have opened up their state economies. In contrast, Liberal governors have attacked religious freedom, freedom to assemble and punished anyone who asserted their constitutional rights.
We should hold those in authority accountable. We should never surrender Liberty due to fear.

As we consider the death toll from recent wars we should remember to reward leaders who avoid needless war. We should not allow anger to start an unjust war.

We have so many reasons to thank our nation’s soldiers.
The best thank you is live up to the standards they believed in.

September 11th 2001 – September 11th 2012

Why do people ignore the terrorist attack that killed four Americans on Sept 11th 2012?

Of course when we hear ‘9/11’ we go back to the trauma of the worst terror attack on U. S. soil. That day is ingrained in our national psyche. It should be.

Still, a brazen attack on an American embassy that kills Americans. One where patriots fought heavily armed hordes of terrorists for half a day. On the anniversary of 9/11 attacks deserves mention.

To this day, questions about a Navy captain being ordered to do nothing are unanswered. Questions about a “Stand down” order to all military forces in range remain shrouded in secrecy. Many rightly wonder if such an attack could happen again. We have been denied basic information about whereabouts of the President during the 13 hours.

Does anyone care?
