Projecting Weakness

China has harassed Navy aircraft on at least four separate occasions, the most recent against an unarmed surveillance plane. An extremely aggressive (and skilled) fighter pilot flew within 20 feet of and even barrel rolled over the  slow moving plane.

A typical Obama-land general stated: “These actions are unhelpful towards creating the type of military relationship with China that we want.”

What!? Weakness.

The State Dept:” These actions violate international law. ”

In other words : we so obsessed with a one world nation, new world order that we don’t care about our national sovereignty. Weakness.

Allen West inspires

I am inspired after hearing Col. West speak. He is funny, affable, passionate and very knowledgeable. Allen West is a true Conservative. I had the (unexpected) pleasure of meeting him at an Eagle Forum fundraiser at the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont PA.

He repeated his historical analysis of Islam and it’s centuries long war against Western civilization.

Below are few other notable thoughts he shared:

*On ‘outreach’: GOP comes to a cookout, presses hands and disappears until 2 months before the next election… He stressed an ongoing RELATIONSHIP; dialog about family values and education.

*We need to stress what makes us different from Progressives.

*We offer a safety net, they offer a hammock

*We offer victory over circumstances, they make everyone a victim.

Phyllis Schaffly was bedridden so we recorded birthday greetings for the 90 founder of Eagle Forum. We salute her as a trailblazer Conservative woman.
Sarah Palin called her “The original Mama Grizzly.”

Congressman Mike Kelly answered my question after his brief,  fiery speech.
I asked him the Establishment was able to work with the TeaParty wing instead of crushing it. He believes the Establishment can and will work with us.

West was asked the question as well, he suggested we “rebrand”  ourselves as  Constitutional Conservatives of Grassroots Origin. He suggested this because when you think of us that way, “What’s not to like?”.

I am pleased that so many of my fellow Penn Hills Republican Committee friends were able to attend as well.
