Pittsburgh is poised for growth for the first time in 60 years. Will the city’s African-American community grow with it? | News | Pittsburgh | Pittsburgh City Paper

An interesting article. The Black community needs to look to solutions for poverty. Our kids continue to underperform academically while getting arrested at a troubling rate. Noone seems interested in looking at the root behavior. If you bring up promiscuity or drug use, people scream racism. We have to look beyond victim politics and govt handouts. Our church leaders can only get roused when a policeman shoots a black youth. We need ALL the church leaders to consistently and loudly challenge our youth to do better.
